Hicks was born in Las Vegas, Nevada to Lucy and Ron Hicks.
Adam landed several roles before starring in How There Are Fried Worms. For example, he got a minor role in the TV series "Titus". He then appeared in Little Ghost alongside many other Disney Channel actors. In 2009, he landed the lead role in the TV series Zeke and Luther. In 2011 he starred in Lemonade Mouth. Disney recently announced that Adam Hicks will star in The Two Kings, starring long-lost brother Brady and Boomer, who will share the throne with Boomer in season three when Brady returns to Chicago.
