The son of the famous children's writer Leah Borisovna Geraskina.
After graduating from the eight-year school, Viktor Geraskin worked for one year as a freelance correspondent for the Krasnoyarsk Komsomolets newspaper, and then for two years studied at the vocal department of the Gnesins Music School. The script was written by the writer herself, and she recommended her son to the director Tatyana Lukashevich for the role of Gerka. So Victor Geraskin got into the cinema.
The debut was successful.
Geraskin himself felt the vocation of a writer and, in the end, chose this direction - he began to write plays and scripts. The last time he starred in a movie with Sergei Yutkevich in "A plot for a short story", but the episode, unfortunately, was not included in the final version of the film.
