People's Artist of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, laureate of the State Prize of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
Born in the village of Chegem II in the family of an employee. During his childhood, during the Great Patriotic War, he survived the occupation of German and Romanian troops. After completing the ten-year period, Barasbi Mulaev entered the State Institute of Theater Arts named after A. Lunacharsky. While still a student, having a bright appearance and talent, he begins to act in films.
He devoted more than 50 years of his creative life to the art of theater and cinema.
