Yana Ditetova was born in 1926 in Pilsen, Czechoslovakia. The actress celebrated her birthday on October 7. From early childhood, Yana loved everything related to art. Music, songs, dances, theater - all this attracted the attention of a talented girl. While still a schoolgirl, Yana enters a children's dance school. In his hometown, the young talent took part in various performances, fairy tales and operettas at the Pilsen Theater. But Yana lived in her small homeland for only ten years, after which her parents decided to move to Prague. Here, completely different opportunities opened up for the girl.
She enters the Eliska Krasnogorska Gymnasium in Prague, which she graduates with success. Also, he studies from 1940 to 1941 at the Burian Emil Frantisek acting school. After training, one could see the first roles of Yana Ditetova on the stage of the City Theater in Coadno, where she worked from 1941 to 1943. And since 1943, she worked for a year as an actress at the Prague Chamber Theater. After, she worked on the stage of the drama theater Na Vinohrady in Prague. The next year after that, Yana received only the main roles, but already on the stage of the Burian New Theater. Since 1946, she finally found what she was looking for - a job at the Realistic Theater in Prague, to which she devoted 47 years of her life.
It is worth noting that since 1942, Yana also began acting in films, working on television and dubbing.
