People's Artist of the RSFSR (1954).
Graduated from the Maly Theater Studio School (1921) .
In 1921-1936 she was an artist of the Maly Theater Studio Theater (since 1932 - New Theater). Then she played at the Moscow Theater of the Revolution, the Lesya Ukrainka Theater (Kiev), the Leningrad Theater named after Pushkin, in 1939-1942 - an artist at the Moscow Lensovet Theater, in 1942-1959 - an artist at the Moscow Drama Theater (Mayakovsky Theater).
Daughter - the famous film actress Valentina Serova (1917-1975) .
She passed away in Moscow on February 16, 1979, having outlived her daughter for 3 years ... The actress was buried at the New Don cemetery.
