Operator, director, screenwriter.
Graduated from the economic (1951) and operator (1962, workshop of A. Golovnya) faculties of VGIK. He worked as an administrator of film crews at the Mosnauchfilm film studio and as a senior film production engineer at the USSR Ministry of Cinematography, as director of the educational film studio at VGIK, at the Mosfilm film studio and in the Sverdlovsk film studio.
