Graduated from VGIK (workshop of Boris Vladimirovich Bibikov and Olga Ivanovna Pyzhova) in 1950.
She was immediately admitted to the Film Actor's Studio Theater, where she worked until 1983.
Actress of the episode, has appeared in more than a hundred films.
After leaving the Theater of Film Actor, Elena Ivanovna worked for two years as a museum worker at the State Literary Museum.
The last years of her life, Volskaya lived very secluded, did not communicate with anyone.
She passed away on April 4, 1998.
