In 1953 he graduated from the State Higher Theater School in Krakow and began performing in theaters in Gdansk and Gdynia.
He made his film debut in 1953.
A brilliant dramatic and comic pop and television actor. The performer of the main roles in the famous films "The Manuscript Found in Zaragoza", "The Seven Transformations of Jan Pischik" and many others.
On July 10, 1969, in a hospital in Gdansk, he died from wounds received the day before in a car accident near Komorow.
The actor was buried in Tenchinka.
