Was born in 1958 in Chernyakhovsk, Kaliningrad region.
At the age of three, she moved with her parents to Vilnius. From the age of ten she studied first at the choreography department of the Vilnius School of Arts named after M.K. Ciurlionis, then (in 1969) she was admitted to the Moscow Choreographic School at the Bolshoi Theater.
After graduating from college in 1977 with a diploma in ballerina, she returned to Vilnius. She worked in the choreographic group of the popular pop orchestra "Trimitas".
In 1978, the choreographer of the orchestra Boris Moiseyev invited Lyudmila Chesnulyavichyute and her colleague Larisa Khitana to create a dance trio. The newly formed collective (later called "Expression") for two seasons performs with an original dance program in restaurants and variety shows in Jurmala. In 1982, at the invitation of Alla Pugacheva, the dancers of the ensemble moved to Moscow and soon became full participants in her concert shows. Together with Pugacheva, the Expression trio starred in the feature films "I Came and I Say", "Season of Miracles", as well as in numerous television programs.
In 1988 Lyudmila Chesnulyavichyute married a French citizen and left the USSR for the French city of Lille.
Since 1995 he has been living in Canada (in the city of Montreal). Manages beauty salon "Maggy France". Since 2005, she has been married to Mark Tolkach (Boris Moiseev's half-brother).
