Born July 31, 1944 in Santa Monica (California). She was the first child born in the marriage of Charles Chaplin to his last wife, Una O'Neill. She was brought up mainly in a boarding school in Switzerland, studied ballet. At the age of eight she appeared on the screen in Chaplin's film "Ramp Lights" .
Later she followed in her father's footsteps, becoming an actress. In 1965 she starred in his last film "The Countess from Hong Kong", like many other relatives of Charlie Chaplin.
