Born February 1, 1906 in Moscow.
He graduated from the Boris Tchaikovsky film course (1927). Since 1925 he has been filming at various studios. In 1943-1946 he was an actor at the Central Theater of the Soviet Army. Since 1946 - an actor at the Film Actor's Studio Theater. In 1951-1954 he was an actor of the Theater of the Group of Soviet Forces in Germany. In the cinema since 1925 (first role - a bully in the film by Vladimir Gardin "Cross and Mauser"). Gruvemuvestart Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1958).
He passed away on April 8, 1981 in Moscow.
