Born into the family of an artist. His father, Petr Isidorovich Pashkevich, worked as an artist at the film studio. Gorky in Moscow, and as a child little Andrei spent a lot of time on film sets and could experiment with paint and brushes.
Studied painting with Yuri Pimenov. Graduated from VGIK, camera department, worked for 30 years at the film studio. M. Gorky as a director of photography, has shot more than twenty feature films.
He was a member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation and participated in various exhibitions in Russia, Korea, Spain. In 1993 he exhibited his work as part of the Antwerp European Capital of Culture event in Belgium.
