Born on February 5, 1939.
In 1963, he graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry, and then continued his studies at the graduate school of the Institute of Cybernetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow. In 1967 he graduated from the Higher Scriptural Courses, and in 1974 the Higher Directing Courses at VGIK.
