Pavlenko Pavel Pavlovich was born in Kiev on September 20, 1902 in the family of an opera singer. When the boy was a year old, his father moved the whole family to the capital of the Russian Empire. In 1912, the future Honored Artist of the RSFSR entered the 9th Moscow gymnasium and continued his studies after the end of the revolution in school 109, which he graduated in 1920.
