Was born on December 29, 1954 in Lithuania. Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Culture. N.K.Krupskaya (1976), scriptwriting department of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (1985). He served in the Soviet Army. At various times he worked as a handyman, locksmith, electrician, actor, director, open pit miner, editor, university teacher, builder, watchman ... Author of several theater and radio plays, as well as movie scripts.
