Since 1944 she has been an actress of the Odessa Theater of the Red Army.
She worked at the Lermontov Russian Drama Theater (the city of Grozny), at the Stalingrad Drama Theater, at the theaters in Lvov and Leningrad.
Since 1965 she was the leading actress of the Stanislavsky Moscow Drama Theater, in this theater she staged Ibsen's Ghosts.
Subsequently, she played at the Moscow Drama Theater "Sphere" .
People's Artist of the RSFSR (1988) .
She passed away on April 11, 2008 in Moscow. She was buried at the 16th section of the Kuzminsky cemetery.
