Francois Ozon, film director and screenwriter of French origin, was born on November 15, 1967 in the capital of his homeland - Paris. His family was quite wealthy, which allowed Francois to use their funds as a foundation for self-expression and self-disclosure. From childhood, the boy had an attachment to watching films, he was interested in the process of making a movie, and often there were conversations between him and his parents about this. Parents, observing such a zeal of their son for the art of cinema, allowed him to enroll in the Parisian cinematographic school La Femis.
His career first began with short films, of which Little Death, Summer Dress and Look at the Sea were especially notable. Already these films with Francois Ozon earned critical praise, and twenty-eight Francois set to work with enviable zeal. The first full-length film was the Krysyatnik tape, thanks to which the name of Ozone became known to large circles of viewers. By that time, Francois Ozon had already formed his own style, which appears in all of his films to this day.
In 2014, Francois tried on the role of an actor in his own film New Girlfriend, although his appearance in the film is rather episodic. He also tried himself as an editor, as an operator, and as a producer.
