In 1987 he graduated from the State Institute of Theater Arts (course of L. Kasatkina) .
Worked in drama theaters in Moscow, Vologda, Yaroslavl.
In 1990-1996 he was an actor in the Alternative Theater-Studio under the direction of V. Grigolyunas (Minsk).
Since 1996 - artistic director of the Maly Theater (Minsk) .
Currently he lives and works (as a filmmaker) in Ukraine.
