Natalia Vavilova was born in January 1959 in Moscow. She begins to shoot at the age of 14, without having, at the same time, an education in acting, which she will receive later, at VGIK. The girl's family lived near the Mosfilm studio, whose employees simply approached the girl and offered her to star in the film. So, in 1974, the drama Such High Mountains was released - the first film with Natalya Vavila, in which, moreover, she played the leading role. In 1976, her collaboration with Vladimir Menshov began. He filmed her in his Raffle - a musical melodrama about growing up, and then, after 3 years, she will play one of the main roles in the drama Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears, according to the Academy of Sciences, which is responsible for "issuing" the Oscars - the best film in a foreign language.

The actress played a small role in one of them. Parents, at first, opposed Natalia's desire to become an actress, considering it a temporary hobby. They even arranged for her to take courses at the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which even jeopardized her opportunity to play in Moscow, she does not believe in tears, but everything worked out, with the support of Batalov and Menshov, the actress managed to convince her parents. The actress was in demand, in all the films in which she starred, she got the leading roles, however, in 1987 there was an accident. On the set of Nikolai Podvoisky, she falls from a horse, receiving a spinal injury and, although she recovers rather quickly from the injuries, she will not play in the film, since the director will take another actress instead. After that, Natalya first takes a long break, and then, having starred in the mini-series The Sukhovo-Kobylin Case, released in 1991, decides to stop acting altogether.
