Producer. People's Artist of the Abkhaz ASSR (1975), Honored Art Worker of the Chuvash ASSR (1971) .
Graduated from the Odessa Polytechnic Institute (1960), the film directing department of the Karpenko-Kary State Institute of Technology (1966, workshop of Viktor Ivchenko). Director of the Kiev Film Studio named after A. Dovzhenko, author of popular science, documentary and feature films.
