Born August 10, 1935, Tbilisi, USSR - Soviet Georgian composer, teacher.
He graduated from the music school, then the geological faculty of the Tbilisi University (in 1959) and only then entered the Tbilisi Conservatory, from which he graduated in 1963 in the composition class of I.I.Tuski.
Since 1970 he taught at the Tbilisi Conservatory (instrumentation class) .
Since 1971 - head of the musical department of the Tbilisi Theater named after Sh. Rustaveli.
Since 1979 - Secretary of the Union of Composers of the Georgian SSR. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Georgian SSR.
