Nikolai Kryuchkov was born into a Moscow working class family on January 6, 1911. A difficult and painful childhood made a real man out of the boy: playing sports strengthened his health, difficulties honed his willpower. The first film with Nikolai Kryuchkov was released in 1933. The picture was called Outskirts, and in it Kryuchkov played the small role of a shoemaker. And in his second film - At the very blue sea, Nikolai played one of the main characters. From that moment on, many directors began to invite Kryuchkov, the actor starred for everyone - in four years he starred in ten films. In 1939, the film Tractor Drivers was released, in which Nikolai played the main role. The picture was a huge success, Kryuchkov's popularity rose to heaven.
Until now, the roles of Nikolai Kryuchkov have always been consistent with Soviet ideology - he played positive "good guys". But in the cult film Pig and Shepherd, the actor decided to break his usual role by playing the role of the good-for-nothing Kuzma. The character turned out great and became one of the classic images in cinema.
Kryuchkov still worked intensively during the war and in the post-war years. Overall, he has starred in over a hundred films. The last picture with his participation was released in 1993, and he died in 1994. Nikolai Kryuchkov was married four times, he had two sons and a daughter.
