Performer of small roles and episodes. He played mostly negative characters.
In 1957, Kulik graduated from the Shchukin Theater School, the workshop of Cecilia Lvovna Mansurova and entered the Pushkin Theater, where he worked until 1960. Since 1960 he has been on the staff of the Film Actor Theater and the Mosfilm Film Studio.
At the end of his life, many troubles fell on Valentin Kulik. The daughter died tragically. In February 2005, his wife died suddenly. A couple of weeks later, Valentin Yakovlevich himself was gone ...
