Was born in 1931 in Tula.
After graduating from high school, he worked as a stoker, and then for 9 years as a pitman and collector, he traveled with geological expeditions to the Far East and Kazakhstan.
In 1960 he graduated from the Law Faculty of the Leningrad University by correspondence.
From 1960 to 1973 he worked as an investigator in the prosecutor's office of the city of Leningrad. He had the title of Junior Counselor of Justice. He worked as a correspondent for the newspaper "Evening Leningrad", a legal adviser, taught at the Leningrad University. Stanislav Rodionov is a famous master of the Russian detective story. The author of detective stories ("Criminal Talent", "Long Business", "Second Essence", etc.), since 1974 - a member of the Writers' Union of the USSR.
Feature films based on his scripts were shot.
He passed away on October 3, 2010.
