Honored Artist of the Uzbek SSR (1950). People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1960) .
Since 1931 - artist of the Pushkin Theater in Magnitogorsk, graduated from the studio at this theater. In 1939-1964 he was an actor in the drama theaters of Tashkent, Alma-Ata, Odessa, Nikolaev (1954-1967). Since 1967 - artist of the Donetsk Regional Russian Theater in Zhdanov. He played mainly comedic roles, acted as a theater director, acted in films.
