Gennady Nilov was born in October 1936 in the beautiful city of Luga. Due to repeated moves, the young guy began his studies in the first grade three times, so he graduated at the age of nine. At that time, they moved to Kiev, where Gena gladly became a pioneer. The magnificent actor Pavel Kadochnikov was his mother's uncle. For some time, the Nilov family even lived with Pavel's family. Gennady Nilov began to play his first acting roles in childhood. While still a student, he led an excellent drama club. After school, he studied at the acting department at the theater institute in Leningrad. Gennady finished his studies in 1959. His first role was in an amazing film called the Exploit of the Scout, his uncle starred, and Gena was then taken to the crowd. Then, being in his fourth year, he played in episodes of several films: Virgin Soil Upturned, Overcoat, Life is in Your Hands.
After graduating from the institute, Gennady was hired by the excellent film studio "Lenfilm". But the most vivid memory for the audience remains his role in a comedy called Three plus two, where he played talented physicist Sundukov. After working for 34 years at the famous Lenfilm, in 1993 he was laid off. Then Gennady decided that he would not continue his acting career. He is true to his word to this day. Now he lives in Priozersk and quietly enjoys nature, and also regularly goes fishing.
