Graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (1949) .
In 1949-1951 he was an actor at the Leningrad Comedy Theater.
In 1951-1954 he played on the stage of the Riga Russian Theater.
Since 1954 he has been an actor at the Moscow Art Theater.
The last few years of his life he worked at the Maly Theater.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1963) .
He passed away on June 9, 1988 in Moscow. The actor was buried at the Donskoy cemetery in Moscow.
Son - actor Dmitry Zolotukhin.
