Eddie Marsan was born in Stepney, East London, to a simple family: his father was a driver, and his mother was a worker in the school kitchen. After leaving school, Marsan worked for a while in a printing house.
Marsanne began appearing on the screen in 1992, performing cameo roles in various television series, later he played in such films as Gangs of New York (2002), 21 Grams (2003), The Illusionist (2006), Hancock "(2008).
