Jamie Murray is the daughter of the English actor Billy Murray and was born in Essex, England. Shortly before her sixteenth birthday, Murray was diagnosed with dyslexia. She studied philosophy and psychology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, but dropped out to attend the Drama Center in London, where she graduated in 2000.
Even in her early years, she realized that she wanted to become an actress. After graduating from school and graduating from the university, she seriously took up her career and in a short period of time managed to achieve her goal.
