Demobilized in 1946, he returned to the school.
After graduating from the Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin became an actor of the theater on Malaya Bronnaya.
Since 1950 - a teacher, and since 1981 - a professor at the Theater School named after B.V. Shchukin.
People's Artist of the RSFSR (1989) .
He passed away on March 18, 1994. He was buried in Moscow at the Armenian cemetery.
