Was born on July 4, 1975.
In 1999 he graduated from RATI (GITIS), workshop of O. L. Kudryashov, specializing in actor. Since the age of 12 he has been studying traditional Russian music.
Took part in expeditions to collect Russian folklore.
From September 1999 to May 2003 he was an actor of the Moscow State Variety Theater.
From 2004 to the present - the host of the program "Without Rehearsals" (TVC).
In 2000, together with Vladimir Nelinov, Sergei Rodyukov and Vladimir Kudryavtsev, he created the Pan-Quartet musical group, with which he performed at European festivals and created music for performances.
Took part in folklore festivals. Has played with many jazz and classical musicians. Has experience in musical improvisation (Igor Bril, V. Chekasin, D. Kramer, the French bands Los Incas, Brancusi, the musical theater Defet, etc.).
He wrote music for the Kultura TV channel.
He was engaged in pedagogical work (plasticity, gesture, acting) in the center "Consent".
Vladimir Pankov received the Debut-2003 prize for vocal parts in the play "Sweet-voiced Bird of Youth". For the music for the play "Twelfth Night" he was awarded the "Seagull" prize, laureate of the "Moskovsky Komsomolets" newspaper awards: "Best Music of the Year" and "Best Supporting Role" for his role in the play "Plasticine" by K. Serebrennikov. Awarded a presidential grant from the Theatrical Initiatives Development Fund.
In 2005, together with Olga Berger, he founded the SOUNDRAMA studio.
Staged such sensational performances as "DOC.TOR", "Red Thread", "Transition".
