Born in Simferopol on January 24, 1936, into a family of actors.
In 1957 he graduated from the Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkina.
In 1957-1960, since 1969 - an actor of the Maly Theater of the USSR.
In 1960-1961 - artist of the theater named after A.S. Pushkin.
In 1961-1962 he was an artist of the Mosconcert.
In 1962-1969 he was an artist of the Yanka Kupala Academic Theater in Minsk.
In cinema since 1954 (first role - a wrestler in the film "World Champion").
Took part in the dubbing of cartoons, the author of the lyrics for the songs of the films.
Honored Artist of the Byelorussian SSR (1967).
People's Artist of the RSFSR (1987) .
He passed away on February 18, 1992 in Moscow. He was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow (section 2).
