Born in the city of Sochi, in the family of an engineer and a doctor. Since 1976, his family has been living in Troitsk, near Moscow. The younger brother of actress Galina Tyunina. Graduated from RATI (GITIS) (1995), student of Andrei Goncharov, under whose guidance he then worked at the Moscow Mayakovsky Theater.
