Cybill Lynne Shepherd (February 18, 1950, Memphis, Tennessee, USA) is an American film actress and singer. In her youth she worked as a model in TV and magazine advertising, representing many well-known perfume companies. In recent years she has also acted as a producer. She wrote a rather candid autobiographical book called Cybill Disobedience.
Widely known for her work on television, in particular, the role of mistress and director of the detective agency Maddie Hayes in the parody series "Moonlight Detective Agency", in which she performed alongside Bruce Willis, as well as the comedy television show "Cybill".
