Born March 17, 1953
Graduate of the Faculty of Economics, VGIK (1978) .
In cinema - since 1978. Since 1978 he has been working at the Mosfilm film studio. Director of the Telefilm Film Studio of the Mosfilm Film Concern since 2000. In 2003, he was appointed General Director of Telefilm Film Studio. He teaches at the higher courses for screenwriters and directors, since 2004 has been teaching at VGIK. Member of the Board of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation (2004) .
Member of the Board of the Guild of Production Organizers.
