Actor, musician, showman, TV and radio presenter, was born on April 30, 1962 in Leningrad. After graduation, he entered the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema (LGITMIK) in the workshop of Igor Gorbachev. And upon graduation in 1983, he was assigned to one of the most prestigious theaters in the country - Alexandrinsky, whose chief director at that time was his master Igor Gorbachev. 3 months after enlisting in the theater staff, the aspiring artist went to serve in the army. It was in the Soviet armed forces that Fomenko began to sing, becoming the vocalist of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Leningrad Military District. There he also recorded his first disc - "Songs of Solovyov-Sedoy". After returning from the armed forces, Fomenko returned to the theater, but after 3 months he left him again, this time for the sake of the "Secret" group that was being created then.
