September 22, 1937, Tula, USSR (Russia) - October 9, 2004, Moscow, Russia - Soviet film actor, director and screenwriter.

In 1944, Slava entered the Tula secondary school number 23, and from May 1946 to August 1948 he spent with his father and mother in Poland, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Austria and Hungary (at his father's place of service). Returning to the USSR, he continued his studies at his native school, which he graduated in 1954. Immediately entered the acting department of VGIK, in the class of V.V.Belokurov.

In 1958, Alexander Rowe's film "The New Adventures of Puss in Boots" was released, where a second-year student Zharikov played the Marquis Karabas (the main role). In parallel, he starred in the film by Nikolai Lebedev "At the Break". There he also got the main role of Tsaplin's orphanage. Since "New Adventures ..." was filmed in Moscow, at the film studio. Gorky, and Lenfilm was engaged in the film "At the Turning Point", Zharikov was constantly on the road, worked a lot, got tired, and, as a result, had many absences from classes. Because of this, he was expelled. However, in 1959, Vyacheslav re-entered VGIK, this time in the workshop of Mikhail Romm (he graduated in 1964). In 1968 he graduated from the Higher Courses for Creative Workers at the Central Television. After completing the courses at Belarusfilm, he shot the short film Village Vacations (1969) according to his own script.

Since 1986 - actor at the Gorky Film Studio.
