Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1988) .
Graduated from the Moscow Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkin (1956).
In 1957-1963 he was an actor at the Film Actor's Studio Theater.
Since 1963 - an actor at the Kiev Film Studio named after A.P. Dovzhenko. In cinema since 1956.
Lev Perfilov played in 160 films, a master of small and cameo roles.
He had an unusual hoarse tone of voice that was remembered by the audience.
He passed away on January 24, 2000 in Kiev. The actor was buried at the Kiev Forest Cemetery.
