Born on July 15, 1940 in Kharkov.
In 1962 he graduated from the Higher Theater School named after M.S. Shchepkina. He worked at the Taganka Theater, then at the theater "Commonwealth of Taganka Actors" .
He passed away on January 4, 2011 in Moscow.
