Scott, Brian Cox, Eddie Izzard, and Jason Priestley starred in the miniseries Day of the Triffids, scripted by Patrick Harbinson (who wrote the TV series Ambulance and Law & Order). The plot of the series is based on the post-apocalyptic bestselling novel of the same name by John Wyndham. He was shown in December 2009 as part of the Christmas season on BBC 1.
