Was born on February 19, 1945 in Tashkent.
In 1964 he graduated from a music school in Belarus, specializing in vocalist and instrumentalist. Then he worked in the Belarusian Philharmonic, since 1969 - in the group "Singing Guitars" .
In 1971 he moved to Moscow. He worked at Rosconcert - in the Moscow Music Hall and in the Sovremennik Orchestra under the direction of Anatoly Kroll (1971-1975), in the Moscow Regional Philharmonic as the artistic director of the VIA Magistral (1975-1977), at the All-Union Recording Company “Melodia” (1977 —1983), where he released several albums.
Since 1987 he began to write his own songs.
The author of popular songs "Under the roof of my house", "I look at you like in a mirror", "Sea, sea ..." and others, which captivate with their lyricism and sincerity. He wrote music for many films.
