Born on March 3, 1923 in Tbilisi.
From 1939 she studied at the acting department of the Tbilisi Theater Institute, in 1941 and 1944-1946 - at the Moscow City Theater School.
During the Great Patriotic War, she took part in sabotage and reconnaissance operations. In 1952-1954 she studied at the directing department of GITIS.
In 1959 she graduated from the directing department of VGIK (workshop of G.M. Kozintsev).
In the postwar years, Lisitsian worked at Sovexportfilm in Italy.
Scriptwriter and director of popular science, advertising, short films, director of restoration of films: "Peter the First", "Peasants", author of stories in "Almanac of Film Travels" .
She passed away on November 29, 2009 in Moscow. She was buried at the 24th site of the Vagankovsky cemetery next to her husband, cameraman Viktor Listopadov (1923-2004).
