People's Artist of the USSR (1968). People's Artist of the BSSR (1961).
He worked in theaters of the Belarusian capital: at the State Polish Theater of Belarus, at the Theater of the Young Spectator. Since 1940 - in BGT-1 (Kupalovsky Theater). He played about 500 roles. The most memorable and vivid are the spicy, comedic roles, in which his natural talent, extraordinary organic nature, and a high level of acting skills were brilliantly expressed. He reached a particular height in the creation of national, Belarusian images, in the disclosure of the diverse picturesque features of the Belarusian national character.
