Russian director and artist.
Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation.
Member of the Guild of Russian Filmmakers.
Graduated from the philosophy faculty of Moscow State University (1981), the directing faculty of VGIK (1989). In 1993 he founded the ABE film company. Since 1993 - the founder and president of the open Russian annual competition of student and debut films for the national awards "Saint Anna". In 2003, at the Bolshoi Theater, he staged the opera Norma by V. Bellini, which was awarded five nominations at the Golden Mask festival, including Best Performance.
Lives and works in Moscow.
