Deborah Ann Harry (born July 1, 1945, Miami, Florida, USA) is an American singer and actress, leader of the new-wave band Blondie, which she organized with guitarist Chris Stein in the mid-70s. After the group disbanded in 1982, she helped Stein recover from a serious illness.
She was friends and collaborated with Andy Warhol - Blondie was one of his favorite bands. Became a model for several works by Hans Giger (Debbie I, Debbie II, Debbie III). He also directed the videos for her for "Backfired" and "Now I Know You Know" in 1981.
