Jazz composer, folklorist and teacher.
Member of the CPSU since 1969. Graduated from the Musical Pedagogical Institute. Gnesins by A.I. Khachaturian (1956). He taught an elective composition class at the Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory (1958-62) and the V.I. Gnesins (1963-78). Since 1975 he has performed as a pianist and leader of a jazz instrumental ensemble.
