Born and raised on New York's Upper West Side, Davis attended Berkshire School and then graduated from Georgetown University School in the Foreign Service. After graduating from university, Davis spent a year in Paris. After moving to New York, Davis began writing in earnest and created his first stage playoffs from Broadway. He starred in a film called “The Dreamer Awakening.” This led to his first acting job. Davis's first script was a fight with Tommy Riley. The script was written solely with the intention of playing the lead role. Oscar William Goldman was one of the first to read the script, and his validation and mentoring gave Davis a confident move into Los Angeles. The script has caught the attention of many in the industry.
