Vladimir Mikhailovich Uralsky was born in the city of Orenburg on August 28, 1887. Uralsky is a pseudonym, the real surname of the actor is Popov.
In 1895, he got a job as a baker at a local bakery, where he worked for 14 years. In 1909, Vladimir Uralsky began performing on the stage of the Russian Drama Theater. In 1914, he decided to get an acting education, so he entered the theater studio of the prestigious Moscow Art Theater. Soon he was exiled as "unreliable" to Helsingfors, but even there Uralsky immediately found a stage for himself - it was the Alexandrovsky government theater.
In 1915, the actor left Finland and began performing in theaters in different cities: Odessa, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Kuznetsk, Simbirsk.
Since 1923 he has been an actor in the Moscow All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions. Since 1924, Vladimir began acting in big movies. Debut film - Strike. After that, he became a very popular actor, films with Vladimir Uralsky increasingly appeared on Soviet screens, and proposals from directors came one after another. In 1936 he moved to the Soyuzdetfilm studio and began to sound animated films. At the same time, he performs at the Moscow Film Actor Theater.
