Born on June 3, 1940 in the city of Kuibyshev.
Graduated from the camera department of VGIK (1964, workshop of A. Galperin).
Since 1964 - operator of the Odessa Film Studio.
For forty years of work at the Odessa Film Studio, he shot thirty feature films, wrote two scripts, according to which the films "Big Conversation" and "Two Versions of One Collision" were staged, awarded with diplomas of all-Union film festivals.
In 2003 he moved to Moscow.
Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1989).
