People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR (1946) .
He graduated from the Drama courses in Odessa (1902). Since 1904 - artist of the troupe P.N. Orlenev, in 1917-1928 he worked in the Kherson, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod theaters. In 1928-1958 he was an actor of the Odessa Russian Drama Theater named after A. Ivanov. He starred in the films of VUFKU.
